What qualifications do I need to enroll in a flight school?
Requirements vary depending on the school and the program, but, you need to be at least 16 years old to fly solo and 17 years old to obtain a private pilot certificate. You’ll also need to pass a medical examination conducted by an FAA-approved Aviation Medical Examiner.
How long does it take to become a pilot?
The duration varies based on factors such as the type of certificate or rating you’re pursuing, your availability for training, and your aptitude for flying. A Private Pilot Certificate could be earned in as little as 2 months for someone highly motivated.
What types of pilot licenses and ratings are available?
We offer training for: Private Pilot (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot (CPL), Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), and Instrument Instructor (CFII). We are hoping to add a Multi-Engine airplane to our fleet soon and will then offer Multi-Engine add-ons for Private, Commercial, and Instructor certificates.
How much does flight training cost?
The cost of flight training depends largely on the amount of hours needed to obtain each certificate. While the FAA minimum flight hours to obtain a Private Pilot Certificate, the average pilot requires about 75 hours to become competent to pass the Private Pilot final exam, known as a Checkride.
Do flight schools offer financial aid or scholarships?
We do not currently offer financial aid or a scholarship, but It’s worth researching and inquiring about available grants, loans, and private scholarships.

Pilots can pursue various career paths, including airline pilots, corporate pilots, charter pilots, flight instructors, and more. The demand for pilots is expected to continue growing, particularly in commercial aviation.
What should I look for when choosing a flight school?
