A discovery flight, also known as an introductory flight, is a hands-on flight experience designed to give individuals a taste of what it’s like to fly an airplane and to explore the possibility of learning to fly.
It’s led by a certified flight instructor who guides the participant through basic pre-flight procedures, aircraft controls, and maneuvers like climbs, descents, and turns.
